There are no limitations on the microSD card - the SDHC versions offer unlimited expansion, so you could pop in a 32GB card and never have to worry about space again.

I am considering buying the Supercard DSone for my DS. The question I have is what are the limitation with the microsd card, would I be able to use a 16GB or 32 GB micro-sd card with it?

thanks,
john

When i said "I only found one that had asked me about upgrading when I turned on the screen" I wasn't talking about a .bin file, it was some other kind, I believe it started with .s ... sorry if there was confusion there!

Hey, first of all thanks for replying to my question so fast, i appreciate it.
I noticed that, when looking for firmware updates, that most of them are .bin files, which i have to manually upgrade. I only found one that had asked me about upgrading right when I turned on the screen.
Anyways, since my SuperCard SD is so old (when I upload it holding L+R, it takes me to the specs telling me the system is at 1.6) I figured maybe if I tried upgrading to a much earlier firmware? I was updating with 1.7 and on, but I haven't tried any of the earlier ones. That can be my last chance at finding the right firmware, so a list of older ones would be appreciated!
Thanks!

If you're receiving error messages when updating the firmware, it means one of two things: a) you aren't doing it properly, or b) the Supercard is defective.

When you have an update file on the card, it will automatically detect it when booting and ask you to upgrade. If it's doing that, and it's throwing an error when updating, your card is defective. Contact your retailer and have it swapped out - tell them what you have tried doing and that it isn't working. 1.6 is a pretty old firmware for a new Supercard, as 1.8 came out at least 6 months ago.

Also, you may want to consider purchasing from an authorized Supercard dealer next time in order to avoid the possibility of receiving a fake. Fakes never update with official Supercard software. Authorized dealers can be found at http://eng.supercard.cn and our Where to Buy page.

You need to install the cheats.db file. As long as you keep your Supercard DS One's files updated with the latest releases, you should have the latest cheats. However you must keep in mind that games are released all the time, where as OS updates aren't, so some games won't be compatible with cheats without using third party cheat.db files.

Hey,
So I received my SuperCard SD today in the mail. It's an earlier version (its the bigger blue-coloured one) and i got it from dealextreme. When I hold L+R upon turning on the system it tells me the version is 1.6. I'm using a new GameBoy Micro.

I went to the manufacturer's website and downloaded the latest software (to convert the files) and firmware. The .GBA files converted fine, so I added them to my SD card. However, the newest firmware (v1.85) would give me an error when I'd try to run it. I heard that I have to install earlier firmware first, so I found many different ones on the site, including 1.7, 1.8, 1.81, 1.83, etc... I have posted in the dealextreme forum, sent an email to techsupport at the manufacturer's website... but am getting no help. I've been working on this for 5 hours, and I cannot figure out why I get an error message on my GameBoy Micro when I install any firmware. When I choose a game, I always get a blank screen.

Please help!!!

¿Te ha asegúrese de usar el programa de parches? Si no lo utilizan, es posible que tenga que actualizar el firmware de la Supercard Lite Rumble. Lo siento por mi español como yo no hablo, y utilizar Google para traducir.
